Charlene E. McEvoy, MD, MPH, attended the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, MN, and received her medical degree in 1986. Furthermore, she conducted her internship, internal medicine residency (1986-1990), as well as fellowships in pulmonary medicine (1992-1995) and allergy and immunology (1996-1997) at the same educational venue. She was Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Regions Hospital in 1990. Dr. McEvoy received board certification in internal medicine, pulmonary disease medicine, and critical care medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. She remains in good standing with the American Thoracic Society (ATS), the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), and the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST). In addition to her medical degree, she holds a BA degree in English Literature and Chemistry acquired at Marquette University, as well as a Master of Public Health degree with concentration in epidemiology received at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. While she enjoys spending her free time with her family, she relaxes when she is able to work out. She enjoys rowing, running, circuit training, biking, and cross-country skiing.
